Ideal Way Of Fending Off Dog Attacks

By Lan T Buoy

Walking late into the evening in my community is usually a bad idea. This isn't simply because of the ne'er-do-wells who wander the locale, or the drunks who like to pick fights with passersby, but also because of the stray dogs.

The city pound hasn't been quite diligent in patrolling our streets for strays. The stray dogs in this area are known to assault people. Considering that the city could not do anything regarding it, I made a decision to safeguard myself by carrying a self-defense stun gun for dogs.

A stun gun is a non-lethal tool for personal defense that is designed to incapacitate an assailant. It does this by administering a high-voltage electric shock into the target's body that overrides their ability to move, causing them to fall over.

The effect is short term, lasts only several minutes and does not cause any kind of permanent damage. This should give you enough time to get away from an angry canine and call for assistance.

I bought what is called a telescopic stun baton, which is generally a normal telescopic baton with a stun gun built into it. These can retract into a small size for easy carrying and extend into a much longer shape for use.

A baton stun gun offers you the benefit of reach. This allows you to put some distance between yourself and a hostile dog by acting as an extension of your arm. In the hands of the right person, it can be an extremely effective tool.

I bought an extendable dog stun baton that I carry along with me regularly. I have one hand on it while walking through my neighborhood in the evening to ensure that I am prepared to move if a dog were to attack.

This purchase was easily one of the best that I ever made. I feel safer in the evening, carrying my baton stun gun for dogs. I am certain that if I am ever assaulted, I will be able to protect myself versus an enraged canine.
